This first shot is of the Gridiron building in New York, it seems so fragile especially taken from this angle.
This is a detail from one of the beautiful stained glass windows in the cathedral in Prague which I particularly liked. The detail and the colours are so fresh, just breathtaking.
On a visit to Spain, we drove up to Ronda and this is a view across the gorge.
I love the picture of the gridiron building, i’ve never seen it shot from that angle.

Thank you. I love the shape of the building and had tried to get a few shots of it just on its own, but failed. Then as we walked away I turned and took this one, not exactly ‘alone’ but got a better idea of the shape.

My favourite is Gridiron building in New York. It looks very tottery as though it could fall down at any moment!

Yes it does doesn’t it. It is such an unusual looking building, been to New York three times and each time I go I have to go and see it.
Glad you liked it too. 🙂

For a minute there, I thought it was a shot of the flatiron building in New York. This photo looks very much like a New York scene.

You are right, but I was told on my first visit that is was called the Gridiron, maybe it is know by both names, perhaps some kind New Yorker could set the record straight/
Whatever it is called it is unique and quite amazing, bit like New York itself. 🙂

I’m wowed by how amazing this photos are. I’m impressed by the tall , narrow building but I have fear of heights. The third photo is dream view. Ain’t it cool to wake up each day overlooking the World? Beautiful! Thanks…

Great photos from around the world. I love these crazy skinny buildings. they seem to have built a few of them “back in the day” . there is one in Toronto too.

Hi there, hope all well with you.
Yes it is such an unusual building, must confess that I had not heard anything about it before our first visit, just loved it

I love it when buildings are shaped for a small slice of land like in your first photo. But that particular building looks like someone could blow it over. Lots of great windows.
