Thanks Jo – it was a young elk in the lake. We were in a float plane coming in to land on a lake in Alaska, the elk panicked, broke cover and jumped into the water. It was a magical day 🙂

Thank you all for your kind comments, I am so pleased you enjoyed the photos. The villa was painted in different shades of terracotta and cream, very easy on the eye and typically mediterrean in appearance.
The elk did make it to the far side of the lake, the surface of the water was like glass, it was as if he were swimming through a mirror a magical thing to watch
