Weekly photo challenge – Summer

This photo always makes me smile and says “Summer” to me.

I love being near to water and walking along the beach with the sun shining down is one of life’s simple pleasures for a life lived in the northern hemisphere, and more used to rainy than sunny days.

      • simply summery, yes…and thanks for the well wishes…besides just finishing a bed/bath remodel, i continue to manage chronic arthritic aches and pains…some days are better than others…but life is a blessing…each and every day.

      • Oh do take care, I have arthritis in my thumbs and sometimes I don’t know what to do with myself. I never realised arthritis could be so debilitating 🙂 x

      • i can relate…sometimes the arthritis in my right hand makes it difficult for me to close it. i’ve found movement…doing chores or exercise class has tremendous benefits. but i surely appreciate the compassion…right back at you… 😉

    • Thanks, footprints in the sand are great, always get me wondering who made them.
      Looks like our ‘summer’ has gone here, just high winds and howling gales:(
