An Autumn morning
It’s a lovely morning. The sun is much lower over the willow tree, leaves are starting to change colour and flowers starting to wilt. There is a chill in the air too, a reminder of the cooler days to come, that Summer is over and Autumn is here.

Weekly photo challenge: Two subjects
This photo was taken on holiday in Sicily. We stayed in Taormina a beautiful place, quite high up, with narrow, twisting roads providing stunning views at every turn. We had great views of Mount Etna from our hotel and each day I would try to get a better shot. Late one afternoon, we strolled down to the pool area, the mountain seemed almost close enough to touch. This is the photo I took that day. The umbrellas by the pool became the main subject, with Etna looming in the background.

Weekly Photo Challenge “Up”
These photos provide memories of a great “Up” for me. Although extremely nervous at first, I found the balloon flight over Bath to be an exhilarating experience. So, up, up and away I went……

If you have been following the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge, you will have seen people from all over the world posting some great photographs on each of the topics.
I had a hectic week last week; work well and truly got in the way of everything else – we had audits, reviews, meetings, blah blah .. anyway the upshot was that I missed the “Flower” challenge. Then the other day, I saw these beautiful, amazing photographs, from a team in Scotland called Fusion Baby Photography, they have to be amongst the most gorgeous “flowers” I have ever seen.
